We invite you to come and relax at our Sun Catcher Bed & Breakfast that is located in Struisbaai, a small village in the Overberg region of the Western Cape which promises plenty of coastal charm. The name “Sun Catcher” was chosen by us because every room gets the sunlight for most part of the day from various angles.
The house has beautiful sea views from the front.
Nearby (4 Km) is Cape Agulhas at the southernmost tip of Africa and the point where the Indian and Atlantic Ocean meet.
You will love the beautiful beach that stretches 14km from Struisbaai to Arniston, which is fantastic for water sports like kayaking, boating, surfing, body boarding, fishing, and kite surfing, as well as shell collecting, beach strolls, and whale watching.
The little harbour in Struisbaai serves both fishing and ski boats for holidaymakers. Very often the beautiful giant sting rays venture right on the edge of the harbour wall.
With several charming restaurants and pubs, Struisbaai is a fantastic holiday destination.
Sun Catcher amenities for our guests are:
- Spacious rooms with en-suite / private bathrooms, comfortable beds (size depends on room); complimentary coffee & tea, a small fridge, TV (DSTV Compact, Netflix, YouTube);
- Free Wi-Fi;
- A full three course breakfast, to which we add a continental touch and a selection of our home-baked German breads and bread rolls.
Smoking is allowed on the shared balcony and in designated areas.
Your stay at Sun Catcher will be hosted by the owners, Carol and Gert.
